Complete Website Care Designs Two New Sections for the Laurel Hill School's Public-Facing Website
For Immediate Release 1 March 2009 (Port Jefferson NY) Complete Website Care has announced today that it has successfully designed and launched two new website sections for the Laurel Hill School’s corporate website.
In their effort to continue to provide the local community with relevant and updated information about their programs and class curriculums, Long Island’s Laurel Hill School has selected the small website design company to make several unique design additions to their public-facing web site. Complete Website Care also acted as a web content management consultant and provided the school’s web masters with a cost-effective and easy content management program that will enable the school to save money while implementing timely updates and keeping their web pages well maintained.
The school’s website is unique in that each page features a different design, to match the content and the message of the specific program that is being described on it.
“The challenge for us was that we not only had to come up with a visually appealing design that matched the client’s expectations, but we also had to implement the sections within very short time frames,” says Milena Mitova, CEO of Complete Website Care. “Given the uniqueness of the website, which was built quite some time ago, that meant we had to rework quickly the entire menu system to be able to fit in the new content, introduce some formatting and general templating rules that would allow the web masters to work with ease on the updates, and do some intensive testing to make sure that the website would still look great, no matter what screen size or browser the viewers are using.”
The two new sections that Complete Website Care created were the Laurel Hill’s newly introduced Infant program and the middle school pages. The company also created the design for the school's Toddler program. The design work involved primarily HTML and CSS, along with some Java Script for the menu system.
The new unique design formats were based on general requirements and involved a lot of creative work in the process of finalizing the look and feel of the two sections. In the end, the client was really pleased by the high quality outcome and the competitive pricing provided the web design company.
